Before permanently deleting your tax filing account, please carefully read, understand, and accept this account deletion notice.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. We strongly recommend that you download and securely back up all tax-related information, forms, records, and communications associated with your account. Additionally, ensure that all services linked to your account, including ongoing filings, payments, or compliance activities, have been properly attended to or completed.
Once your account is deleted, we will either delete or anonymize your personal information, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. After deletion, you will no longer be able to access this account or retrieve any content or information saved in or associated with it. This includes critical tax-related records or documents.
By proceeding with deletion, you acknowledge and accept the following:
1. Loss of Account Information
- You will not be able to retrieve any personal data, tax forms, filing history, communications, or activity records associated with this account. This includes but is not limited to:
- Personal details (e.g., profile photo, username, contact information).
- Filing history, uploaded documents, drafts, and completed forms.
- Payment records for tax services or subscriptions.
2. Loss of Access to Services
- You will no longer be able to log in to or use this account for tax filing or related services.
- Any third-party integrations or authorizations linked to this account, such as connections with financial institutions or payroll systems, will be disabled.
- You forfeit any claims to virtual assets, discounts, or benefits associated with the account.
3. Impact on Compliance
- Deleting your account does not exempt you from any obligations or liabilities resulting from previous activities, including unpaid taxes, filing errors, or legal compliance issues.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that all unresolved filings or payments are completed prior to deletion.
4. No Recovery Assistance
- After deletion, we will not be able to assist in recovering any account-related services, data, or documents, even if you choose to create a new account in the future (e.g., with the same email address or phone number).
5. Legal Disclaimer
- We will retain or process information related to your account only as required by law (e.g., for audit or regulatory purposes). Any such retained data will be handled securely and in compliance with our privacy policy.
